You can now buy atWar's ProtoCoins with Bitcoins or Litecoins. The process is manual for the moment - you can find more details at the bottom of this page.

It depends on whether you already have bitcoin/litecoin. There are no transaction fees, so you'll get 100% your money's worth. With SMS, there are additional fees, sometimes as high as 70%.

Excellent news, but what exactly are "Litecoins"? This is the first I've heard about them.

Pretty much the same as Bitcoins. They're the second biggest cryptocurrency.

Alot of the other cryptocurrencies seem like "pump and dump" schemes. Even Litecoin is still not nearly as widely used as Bitcoin. Anyway, it's nice to see that we can use these to pay for AW!

I know, I don't think dogecoins will ever beat bitcoins. But just saying, I like doges. I thought this cryptocurrency would grow up really fast but it's still the same as 10 days ago
