I was wondering if a random attack unit attacks a defense unit, how the attack of the (attack unit) ties in with the defense and HP of the defensive unit. So lets say an attack unit has 10 attack, and 7 HP and attacks a defensive unit with 8 defense, and 7 HP.

They doesn't always roll the maximum amount of attack/defense though But assuming that they do, then they will tie as you've said. The admins programmed it so that the defender wins the battle. The amount of HP that the defender have remaining is still unknown.

*The attacking unit has slightly better chance of winning. Because the attacker would have a range of attacking point of 1-10, whereas the defended have a defense point of 1-7.( If we exclude critical hit) * in every battle. all unit roll a random attack/defence point twice. and is added together and divided by 2.(they want the middle number) *assuming the attacker roll a 10 and the defender roll a 7. (IN a 1v1),, the defender will always win.because the defender manage to kill the attacker's hp. (this is not always the case) *(1-10) the attacker need any attack from (7-10), in one battle to win,(there is an exception, noted above) and IF the defender roll anything (1-6).. The attacker always win Note. * The battle could go on more than one battle, if both the unit surive the first one and manage to have at least one hp. * The attack/defence point, is basically the highest roll.(excluding the critical hit chance) * with critical chance, at best the attacker roll would be 20 attack hit, and at best the defender would roll a 14 point defence hit. Basically it's {[(roll)+(crit roll)]+[(roll)+(crit roll)]}/2 ^the crit roll would be affected by the crit chance, which is the chance of rolling an extra point. ^ the attacker unit could add around (1-10) to the attacking hit.(bonus roll from crit) ^ the defender could add around (1-7) to the defender hit.(bonus roll from crit)
