Is the map editor actually fixed of most of its bugs? Can we edit old maps? Cause that has contributed to why map making has been so slow. So many of us older map makers gave up waiting years ago so if it isn't any better there isnt much reason for us to come back and work more.
I'm able to make entire maps on both editors just need to be careful on backgrounds ans no go zones and adding players to the map in HTML, stuff like that, or risk the map it's self.. but all in all it's decent.

what about borders. I have found issues with some of maps that are clones of my original maps from before editor change, and they have border issues that i noticed were reported (i made the report claim more clear but still).

Have you checked the maps out since then? I occasionally have border problems but I can easily fix them by zooming out and in again.

I just read your post. I personally haven't had that problem yet, just when I'm making borders they get super thick so I have to zoom in and out.
I would wait until the problem is fixed on that specific map, so you don't risk any work on it

The old editor was discontinued I'm not sure when alois last checked. And you cant clone or edit old maps. It's a serious issue. Also deleting borders is the leading cause of maps breaking. Lastly cloning is still mostly broken. It seems related to image type, jpeg work best, and file size. Anything over 240 mb seems to get issues.

I can actually edit old maps, maybe try again? I've been able to edit old maps since around september of last year. That's how I was able to release my polish succession map

I could have sword when Clovis released the new editor into beta he said they where closing the old editor to force people to try and find bugs in the new one. Unless that changed without a notification to the community

He did do that, and then restored it as so many couldn't publish.

I can't edit the borders of old maps in silverlight, it just gives me the "unable to save borders" message like it has for awhile
