The money needed for advertising something on google is $300, so if everyone donates $2, I'll pitch in some money, and we could possibly get atWar advertised again! Just an idea, I want to see if anyone would actually donate.

Why would I pay more money to advertise this game? I bought it and bought PC...use that.

Plus we need programmers, pay them or focus on advertising the company specifically to coders?

I would only want to advertise the game when so many of these issues are fixed. We now have a functional html server for games but we need a functional map editor as well. With that will increase the interest of previous and new players and we will have a strong enough base to advertise on platforms like google. Advertising only works if we have something worth advertising.

Good idea in a way but keep it for when we have a fully functionable game (ergo map editor), this way we won't throw money out the window

Why would you advertise such a game.. it has no gaming environment its social chat for most of us the and the people who would be interested in joining it and staying on it to become competitive would most likely be satisfied by other more advanced games without cancerous low noobs who flames at the good players on it cuz they suck and rarely give you a good game...
unless you want quantity over quality don't bother

Have you guys ever seen the show Shark Tank? I think it would be worth a shot maybe getting one of the sharks to help out with this game, though the creators will really have to start making a good pitch for this game because the sharks do not give mercy to weak ideas

Most people here don't know how to code. And even if they did Amok and Ivan wouldn't be able or probably dont want to pay enough money for them to even want to code for AtWar

What about trying to recuit some volunteeers from the player comunity? With an over 1k players conecting everyday you can find some who can program and are willing to help for free. And even if you don't trust them to do critical tasks beause they are doing it as volunteers you could give them som less important task or ask for another point of wiew in some problems.

There are so many good games one could spend time on, why would they spend it here unless they're a masochist willing to be insulted every 5 minutes by some rank 7 autist who is shit at the game yet trashes anyone playing big nations decently

Even if you managed to raise $500 to fund PPC campaign it would be totally pointless, and the results wouldn't even measure against organic SEO which is free, furthermore the 8% monetised conversion ratio would prove the campaign being unsustainable, therefore I suggest you save $2 and treat yourselves to lollipops. Just to make a noticeable difference to the game population would require hundreds of thousands of dollars.
