That's the most retarded argument I've ever seen. If they were to change Kosovo's state, they'd make it separate, not part of Albania, because it is separate, and though it has ethnic and cultural ties to Albania it's an independent political entity. Crimea, on the contrary, never claimed to be independent, and instead was ANNEXED by Russia.

There's a difference between de facto and de jure ownership

I mean, according to the Russians they *do* have the right. This argument is really just a rabbit hole, so don't take it serious btw.
