I don't know if this is more of a suggestion for the Devs or mapmakers...but I think that traps should be implemented. Perhaps even decoys, because in real life these strategies might actually be used to help weaker Nations have more security and/or give them an advantage on the battlefield. You could put in landmines that blow up if an enemy goes within 1 unit of it. This would force the units into a battle where it just kills a number of soldiers, but the units can't attack it. That is where the Devs might come in because some changes would need to be made to accommodate this new feature. What do you guys think?

Thanks!

Complicated mechanic, not only hard to implement but also hard to adapt to the current gameplay. Also, by the way you are proposing it it looks like it will just make the mechanics harder to understand.

So... I think it shouldn't happen.

Cool idea, but would be hard to implement, as clovis said.

High Defence/Units With Bonus Against certain Units that are also stealthed would give the same effect for cities.

Landmines are prohibited under the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on Their Destruction from 1997. that was signed by 150 world countries.
