To me people who still cry about rewalling are like young earth creationists, completely detached from reality.

Not fully sure but my clan mates are part of the cry group who don't support rewalling. If it ain't illegal you shouldn't have a problem doing it.

Why would you not try to wall up your cities again?

I will revive this thread because some random rank 10 or so (can't remember his name) kicked me from his teamgames after I rewalled in an earlier game.
This is a friendly reminder for all you newfags and crybabies that wallfucking was implemented in atWar for preventing wallglitching, that is: glitchy rewalling to take place. People started rewalling from inside the walled city, which created unbreakable walls and was therefore a glitch.
Wallfucking was implemented to prevent this and thereby made rewalling a legitimate game machanic again, as it should be. Because now you could just break the wall and place a unit next to it to prevent a rewall from happening.
So to all you players who call themselves 'competitive' but cry about a legitimate game mechanic and even ban people from their games for using it: You are the true cancer of aw, worse than roleplayers. Because you should know better.

he so easily forgets turnblocking, it's as legitimate and buggy as the latter, yet one is supported by particular parts of the community and always has been since that's how they win games.

T1 wf is looked down upon by the majority of players. Just cause some admin says it's OK doesnt make it cool. I for one am not going to be the guy who pisses everyone off by breaking a community-enforced rule. Besides, Its practically cheating to be a WF when you know everyone around you is going to respect the rule. Literally what's the point unless all you want is SP? There's no honor in it and it's garunteed to work on anyone who hasn't added you to enemies. Its the same as backstabbing and is metagaming, especially if you know your teamate is giving you the benefit of the doubt and isn't prepared. You're not clever for doing it and they are not stupid for not preparing. They're putting the possibility out of their mind for the sake of a more enjoyable game. These things need to be agreed upon beforehand, or kept in appropriate scenarios like GoT. If the entire community agrees to play one way, and you play your own way, you'rea cheater and jackass no matter how you try to defend it. Its no different than hacking or aimbot etc.. Except that it's allowed. I'm not going to be that person. I play for fun and competition, not to stroke my ego for abusing a game mechanic that nobody uses.

But that being said, reputation and enemy list is there for a reason. If you want to be a jackass be my guest but don't be surprised when people hate you for it.

BTW I'm really not trying to insult you for having an opinion. If the devs encourage wf and the like, that's fine if they have their own vision of how the game should be played. Encouraging players to CHANGE the rules is fine. That's not the same as encouraging players to "break" the rules. But the bottom line is the community has spoken and I'm not going to disrespect that unless everyone changes their mind

Sorry, forgot I could edit.
Anyways for the topic of rewalling, I've been playing a long time and this is not my only account. I've never once heard of "rewalling", and I will continue to do it in regular games because I don't think it's a community rule. If I ever start doing CWs and playing with hardcore players I won't use it, because it seems to be agreed on within those circles
