It's called getting owned by blue, stop being terrible. Ukraine was obviously strong enough to fight them off.

nope.
This was right after country selection. no teams. Also, you can guess the what the colors should be based off the cities. These colors would only show for the countries if i hovered my mouse over the specific country.
Also I was Ukraine.
last thing: turn 1, for some reason the color switched from blue to red.

How many times do I have to repeat myself? This was right after country selection. there was no alliances. Once we got into the game the only thing alliances affected were that I could see my ally's correct color.

It's team colors that for some reason got activated in a non-team game (bug, obviously).
