I have noticed that in the Units guide its shows some things which I assume are not exactly the amount of costs
For example in this SS it says the transports cost 150 with all my upgrades and general bonus upgrades included.
I tested this and it showed it costs 190 maximum.
For your information. I got all the general upgrades and all the transport upgrades/reducing costs upgrades.
Oh another thing is, it shows on the first screenshot that the militias cost -30. which means basically free or should reduce -30 of your total cost, but as I showed on the second screenshot militias cost 10.
Is there someone who could explain how this exactly works? I don't know if im the only one who noticed this or just beyond stupid

From what I've been told imperialist militia used to be free but that was considered overpowered so they made them cost something

But how does that explain the costs for the transports? D:

Waffel, if you unclick 'general stack' you get correct amounts...
The general stack upgrade which reduces maintenance by 4 units is the equivalent of a 40 gc reduction, which is how the developers programmed it to keep it simpler. The chart then calculates the 'cost' of that unit as if the general was building it with the 40 gc reduction, which as you pointed out is incorrect.
AS for the 10 militia, that was changed to make it a bit more realistic, as IMP militia used to be free... which made playing africa games as imp interesting , as you could auto produce militia and have some fun with it. But not so realistic, so they 'nerfed' it .

But ehmm, I appreciate your anwser.
But one thing I dont quietly understand. if i unclick the general stack it says 220, but ingame it is 190 ;_; or am I now to blind?
Thanks for the militia part! I kinda assumed that a bit ;_;

lol... alright, with imperialist that is correct... you said it's 150 on chart (above) and 190 in game... that difference is 40, which is the original 40 gc i already mentioned for 'cheap' general discoutn.
Dilemma resolved... math ftw.

Transport with transport upgrade are 220, and then with imp are 190.
General stack bonus is wrong, forget it.
You don´t need to pick general "stack" for the cost of the units when you are going to buy them.
Is there somebody talking about militia used to be free with imp?
I never saw that and i never heard about that.
Militia is always 10 cost with imp.
General stack "click", talking about costs, is only for the cost per turn of the units in the stack.

It's true.. militia weren't always 10... they used to be 0. (30 cost -30 imp)
