1914: Dawn of war (act 1): Should we get rid of Italy and split Russia

Since Italy wasn't in the Great War until 1915, and since everyone complains about Russia being over/underpowered...how about we get rid of Italy and split Russia in half to balance things? I should mention, I will clone the scenario so we will always have the present "1914: Classic", just in case you don't like the outcome of this thread.
