Why is it permissible for ppl to join a game and change the options? I really like this game and I wanted to become premium but I decided against it right now because I really cannot enjoy the game if ppl can just change the game if they feel like it especially when they might be losing .

Most changes require the majority approval to change, with the exception being number of allies, which requires unanimous approval.

So by majority you mean for example 2 players along with me are left in a game , two of them decide to ally and now it is 2 vs 1 , so 2 is majority ! This is what happened to me .. they changed the options and I could not respond in time to attack by two opponents !

Yes, that is majority. What they did is not fair and mean, but is an unfortunate possibility.

I don't see any good reason to allow this. that rule could be changed easily.

THE "LATE JOINING OPTION" SHOULD BE SET BY THE PLAYER HOST, AND NOT BE ABLE TO BE CHANGED LATER.
or at unanimous approval, at the least.

don't let trollers-s...ckers ruin games, annoy other players and make people go play elsewhere since we wont enjoy aw any more. period.

MODs, are you ready to improve aw gaming experience by changing this rule?
cheers

If it is a 2 vs 1 the voting is separated into teams. Everybody in the opposite teams vote count as 0.5 while your count as 1, so if you vote against the change it should not change.

Ok that is interesting but does not solve anything really . Last few games I played were actually 3 vs 1 in the end ! So they still changed it . In other games they simply do not ally up first they private message each other etc , change the settings then ally up ! Point is I firmly believe that game settings should not be allowed to change once a game has started. Too easy to manipulate . At start of game everyone one should decide what conditions they want to play and decide if they want to play a particular game; if not well either create one or find another ! However playing a game and basically all of a sudden in the middle of it the rules changes is absurd

I agree 100% though i don't think the admins will be doing this any time soon. They are busy upgrading the game to HTML5 new features and bug fixes (like this) will follow after the upgrade.

I like how some game options cannot be changed, like for example, max turn limit. When you have played the best and have the most Skill Points, and people start ganging up on you, usually you start to lose. If, however, you manage to last long enough, you can still win the game and the other players cant change the max turn limit into their favour.

I completely agree with this, it is absurd. What other games are there where in the middle of it, the rules and parameters, suddenly just change? And if the Admins do't do something about it, then they are going to lose players and even money over this. Who really wants to play a game that starts with one set of rules, then suddenly changes and you find yourself screwed by it?
