The Diplomatic Letter I propose is as a resume, a way to send a letter out of the chat and just for a specific casual game. It is ment to be used only for Casual Games because other games can use the chat with the same results and faster, however in casual games the chat between players in game can be unefective, given the fact that they are not always online at the same time during the turns, and the account mail may not be as much efective when a player is involved in several casual games at the time.

That's why I think it would be great if we had a surce of window to write a small text and sent it to an specific player so that the transmitter player can coordinate strategies with allies or ask for aliances, peace and duels explaining his points of view, wich I consider somethimes necesary. For example: If there are two players having a tough battle for the control of europe and they are in a eurasia or whole world game, one player could sent a Diplomatic letter to the other saing "God day, I'd like to stop fighting between us because whatever be the result of this fight, when one of us destroy the other, the asian player that is growing fast will crush us. The winer of this fight will be weak, we could fight together against him or die fighting each other needlessly". This will give the player a chance to explain his point of view where he couldn't in other way.

I imagine this as an option located in the players window, under every player secction where the peace, aliance, war and duel options are located, as another rectangle able to be clicked, opening a window to write the letter and sending it to be read in the next turn for the receiver player just in that game. But I'm not a programer and i dont know if its possible or how difficult is ti to do it, I propose this mechanism as the basis idea hoping that At War Staff could do something similar if they consider it useful.

Greetings and have a good war everyone

I like the idea quite much! A bit more of interaction between players can't be a bad idea, specially in casual games, where the interaction is nearly null.

Why not, but you can always use PM. Just state in the PM the basic information, so player knows tha game you are referring to. Example: name of the game, link of game, country you are playing, reference to color and situation... etc.
Just PM.

PM may be used but I think the Diplomatic letter could enrich the in game comunication, wich has some advantages over the profile comunication I think.
