Scenarios suffer due to players leaving them early. To combat this I believe that atWar should implement a "hotjoin" feature. With this, when a player leaves, a spectator then has till the end of that round to hotjoin and continue as if nothing happened. The player that has hotjoined should be able to make moves the exact turn he joins to ensure smooth gameplay.

Nice feature to have for casual games as well, where you have a 48h opportunity window to save the game. It would make games more realistic (like if all the West would have stopped fighting after a general suffers a single crushing defeat against USSR in, say, Poland; it just makes more sense that other people step up and continue the fight). It would also make it less frustrating when you are in a 3 player fight, and suddenly, the third of all countries become neutral because one of your opponent leaves - and all neutral countries happen to be all beside your other opponent, far away from you. How many games have we lost because another player left
