Due to massive amounts of quitters, there should be a SP charge to enter a game. The SP should be something reasonable that won't be a killer if somebody quits, but enough to dissuade them from doing so. This SP will be reimbursed if somebody surrenders/loses/wins, so if the person doesn't accumulate the SP before the game ends, then they won't lose SP even if they didn't quit. The SP will be charged as soon as the game officially starts, so people can feel free to leave until then. Also it won't be applied to anybody under level 2, as they can't afford to lose the SP, and should be given time to build up a larger SP base. I figure anywhere between 50 and 200 SP is a fair cost if the person plans on abandoning. Thoughts?

What about Wager Match to join you have to put some sp and if you win you get the sp that others use to join. if they quit or lose they lost the sp that they use to enter the game.

Well the thing is, I think it should be applied to all non-beginner games. It's annoying to start a game/scenario, and on turn 1, half the people randomly leave, as if they joined the game just so they could leave.

It'd be less fun if this was applied to all games. It would also make no sense to do this for test games, and scenarios in beta. However, I love the option of having to pay SP to enter a game, to make for a sort of high stakes match. Then the winner(s) would get it all.

What he said is he wanted a way to decrease the amount of people just randomly quitting in the first turn of the game AKA half the axis team leaving in True WWII. I wouldn't want this on all games, but like how someone else said, have it so you can add a wager to the game, and winner gets all+the earned SP during the game.

Well i'm not saying it would be a multi-duel, although that would be pretty cool... I'm saying you pay a certain amount to enter the game, and you're only given it back if you don't quit. Losing/Winning grants you the SP back. (and surrendering probably will count as losing unless the person does it on the first turn)

I like the Idea, as option because i believe not everyone will like it. I must not be a huge amount, even 100 per Game would fit. But i guess it must be limited in turns, lets say for Example abbandon after week 5 and you will get the 100 back.

I actually really like this idea. But how about the game creator sets the amount of SP lost if you leave. For instance, a range from 0-1000 depending on how much they want to penalize someone for abandoning the game. Also, the SP that is penalized could be put into the pot for the winner(s). Also, I believe the fee should only be paid if you abandon a game. If you surrender, then, you are already penalized with a loss and a crappy game on your last 10 games list in your profile.
