I made this for any noob, who says "let him play what he wants". Just so you know, we don't have to keep explaining over and over again then argue with these illogical people - or maybe just ignorant.

  • "Just let them play what they want" - No just no. Because it's not just about him losing, no one cares if he loses. If it's a team game ( for me generally it is ) then you ruin the chance for your entire team. If it's a colonial game, you fuck up the balance by losing by turn 5. Stop picking large countries because you think they are immortal, they aren't when people like you play them.

  • "Rank doesn't mean anything" - No but it's a good indicator, if you've done economics, Nominal GDP is an indicator of economic growth. Of course there are shit high ranks but that is like inflation (rank inflation from playing RP or other farming ) and so it does not show Real GDP, i.e. real economic growth or real skill. Ranks show skill, because of experience, "The only source of knowledge is experience." ~ Albert Einstein.

  • "If you don't let them play big countries they can never get the skill to get better" - nope not true. If you want to play a big country, host a private game and practice with it. "You cannot create experience. You must undergo it." ~ Albert Camus. If you think we will sacrifice the integrity of the game just to let a random low rank who will probably wallfuck and leave, play then you sir are just cuckoo.

  • "You kicked me, there's nothing left to pick apart from USA and Germany" - Sorry but first come first serve. It's very simple.

  • "Rankists are all assholes" - We're not, we are trying to have a BALANCED game here. I don't know if you quite understand balance if you play too much tempted rp, but there you go. I don't understand why this is an issue, when I was a small rank I picked small countries. So why don't you learn to do that too?

  • "Some high ranks are noobs" - Apart from Mellish (no offence but you don't really wall man) they farmed in RP, and guess what people like TheRomanWarrior etc. are in our enemylists or are known for their bad game-play in competitive games. We generally don't let them in.

Thanks , also for the low ranks out there, I have a new policy. I'll let you play, you fail and you receive 1 month ban or it could be less. Next time you try to play, it will be double that if you fail. Got it? [By failing I mean picking a big country and dying in 5 turns] If you pick a small country this does not apply, and by accepting this bet you can't say afterwards it's an unfair ban. You understood the consequences.

And just to slip another quote in "Experience is the teacher of all things." ~Julius Caesar

The rank show experience? Nice lie is as fake as " The years show knowledge". No sorry if you keep trying the same you wont learn.

inb4 I was rank 8 and I was still beating rank 10's in duel. Why? because the public forum is another great source of knowledge, and therefore, experience.

You can be rank 15 and I can be rank 6. But if I read good and high quality guides, I will not only have my experience but other players experience too.

once again clovis your inability to read english gets the best of you. Adog isnt saying that every high rank is good, in fact he calls out high rank noobs and I could do the same. He is saying that a high rank player who is known for playing tons of games and winning is way more likely to succeed than a low rank who plays RP and wfs or leaves every games, its logic.

We dont give a shit that you can beat any person who play on EU+, we arent even talking about that map and not every rank 10 is good, you play most rank 10s who play EU+ as a rank 7 (inexperienced) you will lose, fact. But sure you play a noob you might win, you play a really good player you can still win because of lucky crit rolls or glitches, but that doesnt mean 100% what you say is going to happen.

The whole point being made here is that we are "Rankists" because we understand that new players wont be as good as experienced players and we do it so that games arent ruined by them. Sure if it was impossible to ruin a game i would let them play but it isnt impossible. It happens all the time because of hosts who dont pay attention and players who sit there troll raging on keyboards that they are entitled to being USSR in Ultimate WW2 because they joined the game 2 months ago and are already rank 5. No i dont give a shit about Rank on its own, but the fact that Rank is the #1 indicator of a potential experience/not experienced player its what we use.

it is true rank doesn't mean a lot i've seen r3's who don't even bother walling defeat r10's and there are some TERRIBLE high ranks out there but after speccing so many senarios where you have r5's or r4's play not even wall or leave before t4 even i can understand why so many people are rankist, at least if they play a smaller country if they do this it isn't as big of deal sure it's bad but it won't have such a bad effect on that game instead of for example they where russia and leave t3 at least if they are a small country like a balcans state it ain't so bad

sadly it is the few annoying lower ranks who ruin it for the others who ACTUALLY HAVE A BRAIN and instead of having to go through 5 or 6 remakes it can be easier just to make the lower ranks choose smaller countries, at least then they can still participate, as for them not learning how to play bigger countries there are times in the night when atwar dies and games are filled with r5-8's and in that situation it doesnt matter as much if they are a larger country as everyone in the game then is (you would hope) of a similar position so it's not like the low rank will get rolled as much as if he was say an r5 russia v r10 prussia this doesn't mean to say he won't get destroyed but it just helps to keep the game more balanced

we are just telling you that you are clearly wrong, its obvious that rank is an indicator of a respectable amount of skill, sure its not

    Cita:

YOU REACHED RANK 10 CONGRATZ NOW YOU HAVE 1000 SKILL

but the rank means a lot more than just some badge, it is important and right now its the best way to determine someones skill in the game other than their playing. so stop being an illiterate idiot and learn some english.
