What's the fun in AW if you're judged for every action [MUST READ] :)

Remember old SRB when they used to rock cw , they were number 1 for years , then they tried new ways in cw which made them lose 90% of cw , while Dalmati used their old same move , every pick over and over again , and they beat SRB , now Dalmati bitching about game losing it competition i dont get how is that for them since they never change their moves in cw , anyways

yazan, yes in start u will lose until u figure out how to really use it properly. But it's ok if u lose as long as u had fun

Well yea even when i tried new expansion with different strategy i failed so old work's much better but i'm bored playing sm ukraien i try something new.

So i went stuiped and followed your "new gameplay style thing" , and it was 3 vs 3 , with our enemys taking UK , Spain , ukraine , and eagle picking turkey and player "C" picking germany i thought why not i will go poland "New ways" so i picked SM and picked it , 10 sec latter

Yazan, well he's being a noob right there tbh. Kicking you for going Poland, I've seen DS poland kill rank 12 Germany, the DS poland was a rank 6. a strong one though... but that nub right here just proved what im trying to say, why can't we try new things! although DS poland not very new but yeah not picked often... But u should stop trying new places cuz of him btw.... cheers

This only furthers my opinion that upgrades/strats need to be reworked, and randomness needs to return.

In a duel/1v1 you can do what you want, but some people have fun by doing what is best for the game they are playing, so picking Switzerland in a 3v3 just to have fun is not okay imo.

Challenge accepted xD ...you do have a point, there is a line between trolling and having fun trying different strategies, expansions. But really how can people that play 3v3 every day stand to do the same thing over and over again ...specialy the ones that "specialize" in certain country.

Some people, like me, genuinely enjoy specializing in one country. I specialize in Spain and suck with pretty much everything else. However, I do play more than 3v3s.

Overreacting a bit here... just deal with it lol. Yes the AW community is judgmental... literally every internet game community is judgmental, and AW is nowhere near as bad as most. People will judge everything you do, it's up to you to deal with it and not worsen the situation.

I agree though nevertheless on the key points you brought up. I use to get upset when people judged me or expected miracles and saw me lose or something, but you have to learn not to care what others think. And heck, most of the time I'm trying something new or taking BIG risks that usually cause me to lose. But I wouldn't improve or learn new things without trying new things. Losing is essential for everyone.

As for team games, I agree 100%. People here quit way too fast as soon as someone picks a different country from the typical ones. Just play the game and have fun. If the other team have Ukraine and Turkey, fuck it, just play. The 3v3 competitive community will never get out of this "Ukraine+Turkey is OP trend" if we don't at least try to play against it and finally beat it, and maybe find a new country/strat combination stronger than ukraine-turkey.

randomness has its purpose and certainly still exists in this game due mainly to critical and countries neutral units counts changing. but too much reduces the strategy and skill element

#1 - Players can do anything they want. If they start to stalk, harass, etc, then it's a moderator issue.

That being said... I personally feel that the community that is in the main room are rank haters. But it's something you live with, not something that can be moderated.
