No solutions are needed, the answers given to you are the thoughts of the community which from my reading are the follows 1. Top clans will be top clans because top clans decide to be top clans - very simple 2. The calls for regulated clans come from weaker clans (this is their problem not the top clans) 3. Non top clans need to work out what they are offering to top players to entice them to join and in turn become top clans (or become top players) 4. no changes to clan limits will work - if anything this will make the gap greater since top clans will just refuse promising players Top clans dont just happen, every stable top clan I can think of has grown through hard work, noobs need to watch and learn get the right upgrades and play play play to be good.

Although I somewhat agree with the OP, I'd rather not be kicked out of SM because I don't even clan war. So fuck the 6-10 player limit, it's useless.

The problem with overall concept of it is that the highest ranks would stick to eachother like gays and not let anybody take their place, just like MK is doing right now.

My saying was adapt or perish. And I perished cause HTML5 is no fun for me. I don't blame admins, it wasn't there idea to lose silverlight. The game can only run so well on HTML5. We will never see the active seasons we used to. Ever. But now that's not a bad thing. The less cws there are the more meaningful. Just a thought. Cap the season at 10 CWs, so people become more competitive.

What do you mean HTML5 is no fun!? To me it feels exactly the same as it did when we all had silverlight. It's also a lot more reliable and we can have multiple windows open at a time, which is cool.

Why not just have clans like MK SM ect train more low ranks? I know they did for a bit (unsure if still do) and they can have their trained low ranks fight the others trained low ranks still few clans maybe but training players means more comp players and possibly in the future more comp clans? and in the short term it's at least more clan wars every comp player started as a low rank and I don't know about you guys but I know if it wasn't for MOU and CE helping me in Evol I probably never would of even thought to get competitive so doesn't it just make sense to do what that like Epic clan ect does? (not saying on as large scale but just picking up a few low ranks and helping them like Enigma did)

dbacks, bertank, goblin, xeno, hell, soul, vdog, leaf, xeno, me, and even bonker himself are products of sm low rank training. rn we're training 2 one of which is r8 and doesn't rly need training anymore, aside from 2 seasons ago when pps acted like noobs and invited high ranks we don't need, we rarely invite people (especially high ranks) to sm. This is not to mention the products of SM training that are now elsewhere or dead (hi enigma), just the ones in sm rn

r8 I think is around fine was more referring to 7's or less as by r8 usually don't need much to play against any rank

IF you put a capacity on coalitions that effects all players. What about coalitions that want to carry their inactive members? What about Coalitions who are just social groups, not competitive Clan War coalitions? I'm not a super srrrious player, I'm just here to have fun. Please don't advocate the admins to take that away from me. I would propose to have a clan war league, where each coalition tags 7-10 members like officers with norestrictions, to be the CW team, only those people have access to the CW games. I don't know how the code for this game works, but I know I've seen it done in html games before, so to the uneducated eye, it should be doable.

10 game limit was where the CW league started, it made people very very selective of cw's. First it was first 10 cws counted then last cws. Then the uncapped CP which favoured the uber active now the elo system Basically this has been tried and proven to be a very flawed system. Elo although not perfect is the best I have seen on this game. HTML is ok, again not perfect and still needs some ironing out but long run I think it has more potential, just waiting for map editor!

For an established clan there is a high risk in playing newer members, I would like to get to a point where we have linked training clans that share features like forum and clan chat, but can operate in cws independantly Dalmati(pups), SRB (revs), SM (rod) VS etc have tried training clans, problem is communication between two clans is poor. Having a linked chat and forum feature would be easiest way to encourage recruiting of low ranks from established clans whilst allowing newer players to compete with out effecting the main clans profile.

doesn't this just make for a clan of mostly r10+? and make it difficult to match ranks with clans like for example Epic ect and thus cause for the clan to not be able to play as many cw as possible though?

The limitations at the moment are that high ranks dont want to play wit low ranks, therefore there needs to be an alternative for low ranks to get used to competitive play whilst still having a link to high ranks to learn.

Doesn't this make it tough to teach low ranks still though? I just think it makes more sense in having players that are same group be same clan instead of more training clans that extremely rarely (some still do though) survive, since if not willing to help the younger generation in AW the game is then kinda doomed isn't it?

I know the admins want to have incentive for premium, but my coalition died because I had no officers to take the reigns while I was gone. Perhaps, as a suggestion, they could allow non premium to be officers, but not leaders? I was the only premium member in my coalition, so when life happened for a while, there were no leaders, no officers, just 50 bickering schoolchildren, lol. I might not be the best player here, but I'm good, and I can pass the knowledge I have on. That's what I try to do with my coalition. But you're right, it's so hard to get talent, and it's damn near impossible to get high ranks in a new clan unless it's friends starting it together, or friends joining friends. I used to play a game called outwar, kind of a legend of zelda map, with the squares and whatnot, that you moved your dot around, but you had weapons and stuff, and there were pictures for each room that it displayed. The coalitions in that game were called crews, and you had several ranks that you could create, and several different options for accesses, crew vault, stuff like that. Its protocoins were called points, and it worked basically the same way as protocoins do here. each crew had a vault where you could donate items, kinda like guild vaults in WoW, but before WoW had guild vaults, lol. You could also donate points, and you would spend the points on upgrades for your coalition. If we were to adopt something like that here we could turn it in to coalition war Leaders, Officers, CW team, Members, and Students. The Students would then be marked so the other members in the coalition would know who needs help and who doesn't. CW team would be marked with another variable so they'd have access to the souper sikrit CW klub, and only leaders and officers could invite people. Another aspect of crew wars in Outwar was the hitlist system, it was basically an enemy list that people with the proper access could put trolls and crew enemies on so people would know who to attack. Perhaps we could have statuses with other coalitions, diplomacy, on the macro level, like in games, but on the grand scale, where people merc and paratroop each other from rival coalitions. I don't know if that already happens in some circles now, but having an official "Status" ally/peace/war where peace is the default setting for all, would add new facets to coalitions. It's a little after 4:20 here so I might be rambling a bit, but fuck it, lol.

On a side note, with the Ally/peace/war status suggestion, smaller coalitions could ally larger ones, and large coalitions could have a separate coalition just as a "training corp" It's what I did with my crew on outwar when we broke 200 people. The allied coalitions would be able to work together as if they were one, but still maintaining their independence. They could even have their own chat, break coalition chat into all coalitions or own coalition to accomodate. I'm full of ideas that will probably never work, but throw enough shit against the wall, and some of it will stick :XD
