Discussion on how to fix the way duels are played

I think it would be a good idea to come up with some suggestions on how to improve the way duels are played. Please feel free to post your opinions and ideas for how to create a more coharent dueling scene. Please do not mention spacific players and please do not break any rules. I ask if someone breaks the rules to please punish the user and do not lock the thread. Here is my suggestion.

Dueling is a compition, there is a prize. The system should be standardized so all parties involved use the same rules and settings and can't restrict who they play against. The purpose of a compition is the best man should win, not the person who can ban the most pros or avoid them, find a cheap and unbalanced map to play on, set rank restrictions to avoid true compition. If you wish to be part of the duel season there should be four incomes, 3k, 5k, 10k, 15k, on any region of the default map, no rank restrictions, banning is prohibited, and everyone should have incognito when in a duel lobby. None of this take much coding and is easily programmable (a few tweaks to banning, and incognito, and duel requirments) it would completly fix dueling so these farmers could stop destroying the system, at this point they shouldn't even give trophies in dueling current state.

Something does need to be done, idk about what you've proposed there but that is better than anything I could come up with. Support!

Anonymous duels. You dont get to know who you fought until the duel ends.
You should not know the rank or the elo as that gives away identity.

Just make it so when you create a duel and someone join, you just dont see their name or a similar system.

Sun, can you at least suggest him to restrict the maps in which duels can be done? It doesn't have to be just Eu+ or the default map, that's nonsense, but it could remove some potential harmful maps from the competition.

Who decides that though? Which maps are ok? Better suggestion would be to vote on acceptable maps then ban bad ones.

Well, some are obvious bans to me... but ofc, there could be a vote on maps to decide wether or not they should be dueled on.

There indecisiveness is because they are afraid to upset certain parts of the community, the issue being that doing nothing hurts even worse.

Make no fixable r7-20r for high ranks and r0-9 for low ranks. + make duels only available to r6+ prevent alt farm

Good thing I don't play duels

Full support, sneaky cowards are exploiting a loophole in the rules where you can't get banned for preying on lower ranks, only if you use an alt account.

No one said your wrong, under the current system you fall in a gray area, this suggestion has nothing to do with the actual players just the loop holes they abuse.

The only people againsts this are farmers who are afraid of getting their shit kicked in.

Maybe make r8+ only to appear on the duel list also Ivan should let 1 mod to check players'duel on the list to prevent noobs high ranks from farm, this is the easiest way.

Basic things that need to be fixed, like constant server crashes or how about automatically hold the game? Wouldn't that be a nice feature? Why does one have to manually
hold the fucking game every time.....or how about map editor. None of the bugs get fixed. So there is all these problems and you guys cry about dumb shit like the dueling system,
and Sun Tzu already confirmed Ivan doesn't give a shit (as if it wasn't apparent enough.)

They are looking for help. In this case as this is fairly simple to impliment maybe pulse can tackle it like ivan said in the above link. Maybe Sun tzu in the near future as he's teaching himself coding. But what you said just expidites the process of this games failure and I do not support that what so ever.
