Ok every since the coronavirus boom atwars rank toxicity has been stupidly overkill the old guard (2018 accounts and older) and the new players just cant get there head out of there own ass to just get along. how are new players sposed to learn to play when half of atwar will just tell them to fuck off and mute them ( or just tell them politely to screw off) its just stupid. how are new players sposed to learn for example ww1 when they always get kicked for the no life ww1 players. or play scenarios when all people do is use them to fill there game. to sum this clusterfuck up we all need to get along or there wont be an atwar soon

Scenarios and the people who play them are seriously retarded, play competitive eu+ or any other world map preset. you don't get judged on your rank there but on your skill level. I see no lowranks in ww1 or any scenarios whatsoever yet I see tons of lowranks in competitive eu+. Just play comp. its way more fun and it teaches you more about atwar.

When you see a 9+ getting trashed my r5 & 6 levels I often womder why rank filters were even implemented.

literally went afk there for one turn, enemy capped me all and chat started spamming that im noob etc, i offered them all duel, nobody answered...

Let say you are hosting a 3v3 or something. If you let a newbie play, you have to consider the chances that he fails horribly and ruin the game for the other 4 people including yourself.
You have to make a choice to tell the newbie to leave which only affects him, or take a chance the newbie will ruin the game for the other 5 people.

Now consider a scen like ww1 with 11 people. One person could potentially ruin the game for 10 other people and you as a host have to make the call.

There's no easy answer to this. New players are notorious for trolling, not listening, and being carefree and the older players are known to discriminate new players from playing because of this.

Adding onto this, to say this doesn't happen in competitive is false. Because who's realistically gonna want some no-name rank 5 dude playing a 3v3 instead of a veteran who's likely to win the game for you? The whole ideology of "rankism" is kinda unavoidable for pretty much every type of game that has some degree of skill requirement. The only time this isn't present is in games where there's NO teams at all. For example world map or any custom map with custom picks where you can pick or choose your allies

My advice: make a name for yourself. Posting this kind of frustration here won't help much.

Just play fun random games and ignore the autistic scenarios and "competitive" (of course competitive is just playing the same small map 99999 times because they can't into something actually more competitive), they are the worst of atwar anyway
