In other news, it's that time again... Santa is back! This year he's flying around on World Map and World Map 2.0, delivering destruction (and ProtoCoins) for the holidays!

How does this work, you ask?

Based on many requests lately regarding nerfs for Insurrection and Logistical Wizard we decided to make the following changes:

Insurrection


Milita:

• +2hp changed to +1hp

Logistic Wizard


Milita:

• +1 Defence bonus in own city removed

Furthermore we made a forum topic to keep track of any future changes.
Please feel free to suggest any nerfs or buffs here.

Today, the community crowned a Game of The Year with its champion, Your Laki.



The remarkable session stretched over 173 turns, with Laki describing his state of mind after 170 turns as "just making some clicks, I have no idea what I am doing". 173 turns turn into approximately 14.5 hours of gameplay.

With a maximum player capacity of 40 and the game lasting up to 500 turns, with joining available until turn 99, the game was both fun and enduring (and probably nerve-racking at the moments with latejoiners hoping in).



Tired from long gaming, Laki's two final opponents (which together had about 400 less units than Laki, 5900 to 5500) surrendered on turn 170 and 172. Chatters found this ending "anticlimactic", forgetting that it is not that easy to play this game for so long without a pause. Congratulations to Laki on the well-deserved victory!
